We will celebrate the Day of German reunification at
"The Wall" ... in Honolulu!
Official Invite
On October 3rd, we will celebrate the German National Holiday of Reunification at a place that
reminds us in Hawaii about what happened in Oktober/November 1989.
Some of you might not know that shortly after "The Wende", about twenty years ago s a pretty
impressive piece of the Berlin Wall was shipped to Hawaii. Since then, it stands as a monument,
somewhat hidden, not far from Costco Iwilei.
If you can make it and and are inclined to spend couple of hours to commemorate what happened
24 years ago, you are invited to the Berlin Wall Memorial for some German food and fellowship.
